BIKING IN POLAND: The best way to enjoy some of Poland’s unique natural scenery is by bicycle. Bikes are ideal for reaching places cars cannot - places of unspoiled beauty that have remained unchanged for centuries. With being over 1200 miles long, Green Velo is the longest marked cycling trail in Poland. The trail passes through five spectacular regions of Eastern Poland including five national parks, 16 preserved landscape areas and numerous heritage monuments and tourist attractions. It would take over a month to fully experience and appreciate the Green Velo trail yet it is just one of many options available to bike enthusiasts.

POLISH BEACHES: Aquatic adventure thrill-seekers flock Poland’s Baltic Coast attracted by perfect wind and kite surfing conditions. No small wonder the Hel Peninsula is considered the wind and kite surfing capital of the country. Its moderate winds and sunny weather draw surfers from all over the world. With close to 300 miles of coast, there is plenty of space left for sailing, jet skiing, swimming and the sunbathers to appreciate the white sand beaches of the Baltic Coast. The seaside towns and cities are also well known for their spa, wellness and health resorts.

POLISH LAKES: Poland’s lake districts boast thousands of lakes and almost just as many choices when it comes to staying active. Spend the morning fishing on an enchanting lake and then pass the afternoon biking along the charming nature trails. There are about 150 kayaking routes and 10,000 paddle friendly lakes in Poland – nowhere in Europe will you find such a dense network of waterways. Among the most popular and best equipped are those on the Czarna Hancza and Krutynia Rivers.

POLISH MOUNTAINS: The mountainous regions of Poland; the Tatra’s, Karkonosze and Baieszczady are open all year long for fun and adventure. The spring, summer, and fall seasons boast mild weather conditions and are best suited for hiking and cycling through picturesque vistas of the Polish mountains. With the arrival of the wintry weather, the region’s many world class slopes beckon skiers and snowboarders looking to enjoy the sport without the crowds and expenses of other alpine resorts. The best-known ski slopes are in the Tatra Mountains and the Sudety Mountains. Snowboarders should also visit Bialka Tatrzanska near Zakopane, where they'd find specially prepared slopes for hurdling and tricks.
