Hiking from Wannian Temple in Mount Emei for two days to Jinding (Golden Summit, 3077 meters), about 50 kilometers, is both a challenge and a fun experience.
Mount Emei is one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China and serves as the ritual place for Bodhisattva Samantabhadra. In 1996, Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area and Mount Emei were included in the World Cultural and Natural Heritage List by UNESCO.
