Urban and wilderness focused escapes available throughout December
Seattle, WA – This holiday season EverGreen Escapes is offering a selection of full-day and half-day adventures throughout Washington, Oregon and British Columbia that include everything from breweries and urban wineries to a visit to a world-famous garden and snowshoeing to a historic mountain lodge.
EverGreen Escapes has been leading escapes in Cascadia for the past seven years, with a wide range of clients and companies choosing these activities and adventures as their alternative to the stale and standard Christmas party often offered in years past.
Each holiday escape is fully inclusive and led by an experienced EverGreen Escape Artist and can be offered as a private, customized tour for families, groups of people, and as corporate holiday events or parties.

Washington Escapes
Brews & Bulbs Holiday Escape – Breweries and Christmas lights tour
Guests on this escape have the opportunity to treat their taste buds to the spices of the season, hopped up with holiday spirit, as they visit three of the numerous breweries throughout Seattle. Between stops at each brewery, guests will settle in while their driver takes them on an exploration of the Christmas lights of Seattle and its neighborhoods in one of EverGreen Escapes’ Mercedes Sprinter vans. An optional brewer’s dinner at Schooner Exact, which includes a four or five course seasonal dinner and beer pairings, is available.

Barrels & Bulbs Holiday Escape – Wine tasting and Christmas lights tour
This half-day escape brings guests on a tour of some of the city’s best urban wineries and tasting rooms, pairing the Christmas spirit of Seattle with the region’s best vintages. Throughout the escape, guests will learn about the art of viticulture from an EverGreen Escape Artist and the winemakers themselves without leaving the city limits. This private holiday party on wheels will have each guests travelling in comfort and style. As with the Brews & Bulbs tour, an optional winmaker’s dinner, which includes a four or five course seasonal dinner and beer pairings, is available.

Mount Rainier Snowshoeing Escape
Washington’s crown jewel, Mt. Rainier, is encased in more than 35 square miles of snow and ice. Binoculars and cameras are a must on a day-long expedition amid this active volcano’s surrounding old-growth forests, alpine meadows, lakes and waterfalls. The EverGreen Escape Artist leading the adventure will deepen the small-group experience with naturalist interpretation as guests take in the sights and sounds along the drive, and while walking or snowshoeing in the park. Park entry fees, seasonal lunch and snowshoes are included.

Olympic National Park Snowshoeing Escape
Large and varied, Olympic National Park offers guests the opportunity to hike through some of the country’s oldest forests, dramatic West Coast beaches, and the imposing Olympic Range. In adventure-outfitted vehicles, guests have the option to head up to Hurricane Ridge for a panorama of jagged peaks, alpine meadows, and the sea, or choose to visit a working farm and cidery for a taste of the Olympic Peninsula.

Urban Wine Trail
This half-day escape brings guests to some of Portland’s best urban wineries and tasting rooms, bringing a combination of the city’s quirky charm and the region’s delicious pinot noir. Guests will learn about the art of viticulture from an Escape Artist and the winemakers while sampling pinot noir, chardonnay, pinot gris and other boutique wines. This escape leaves the driving to one of the EverGreen Escape Artists, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the unique neighborhoods of Portland between stops. An optional private wine maker’s dinner is available as an additional activity following the wine tasting.

Mount Hood Snowshoeing Escape
This full-day escape offers ample opportunities for adventure, exploration, learning, and having fun! British Columbia Escape
Holiday Getaway to Victoria
One of the best times to visit Victoria is throughout the month of December as the city celebrates the holiday season with shopping, dining, and festive celebrations. The Holiday Getaway to Victoria includes luxurious accommodations the oceanfront Oak Bay Beach Hotel, with 24-hour access to the hot seaside mineral pools. Guests will spend one evening enjoying a performance of, “It’s Christmas,” in the hotel’s David Foster Foundation Theatre, including a three-course meal served by their executive chef.
