Arctic Dog Adventure Co. is a year-round ecotourism dog sledding company based in Fairbanks, Alaska. We offer aurora tours, dog sled day tours, multi day dog sledding expeditions and aurora tours, corporate team building, and summer husky hikes rooted in principles of sustainability, authenticity and rustic luxury. Arctic Dog Adventure Co. is the first dog sledding company in Alaska to be certified as a Sustainable Tourism Business by Adventure Green Alaska, the state’s certifying body.
The heart of our operation, our beautiful sled dogs, are all AKC registered Siberian Huskies. Siberian Huskies are ideally suited for the subarctic environment of Interior Alaska. They have thick coats, tough feet, incredibly efficient metabolism, and an indomitable desire to run. We have 45 sled dogs ranging in age from 2 to 12, each with their own sweet, unique personalities and characteristics.
At Arctic Dog Adventure Co., we offer a caring and genuine dog sledding experience, one that highlights ethical mushing practices, and celebrates a life lived in cooperation and partnership with dogs. We are committed to our dogs for the entirety of their lives. We enjoy sharing our lifestyle with guests. Our speciality is long distance backcountry travel by dog sled, offering our clients low-impact access to pristine wilderness areas across Alaska.
