  We are two remote family owned luxury lodges in the wilds of Alaska. Winterlake Lodge is our back country lodge perched above 3 miles of a peaceful lake on mile 198 of the historic Iditarod trail. From here we heli to a majestic glacier to go dog mushing or glacier trekking in the middle of summer. Or take the scenic helicopter ride to a remote fresh water stream to fly-fish or white water raft. Enjoy a glass of wine in the hot tub after an adventurous day of hiking, kayaking, fishing and exploring. Tutka Bay Lodge which is nestled on the tip of a 7 mile Fjord in Katchamak Bay, we enjoy maritime activities like deep sea fishing for salt water Salmon and Halibut or travel to a remote beach on the Katmai Coast to view mighty Grizzlies from 500 feet. Both properties offer breath taking guided kayaking and hiking, cooking classes, massage and yoga as well as wine pairings and appetizer hour. Our award winning cuisine focuses on sustainability practices and local fresh fare. We are the only National Geographic Unique Lodges of the World in Alaska as well as the only Virtuoso Lodges in Alaska.
